Alonni Whitaker, LCSW

Her Story

Alonni Whitaker started as a Pop Warner cheerleader. She graduated high school early to attend Nova Southeastern University and continue cheering, but an ACL injury led her to step away from the sport. She continued competing in acrobatics and tumbling at Alderson Broaddus University, where she earned her degree in Psychology. She went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Rutgers University, gaining experience in mental health and research, then later worked as a Mental Health Coordinator at a high school in Miami.

Along the way, Alonni has stayed involved in her community through volunteering, writing, coaching, and creating programs for young athletes. She has also earned certifications in sports social work, personal training, nutrition, and strength & conditioning. Today, she is a licensed therapist and works in both psychotherapy and athlete performance, with a focus on supporting overall athlete well-being.
