Her Story
Before beginning her path in counseling, Emily spent 13 years as a competitive cheerleader. This experience instilled in her a strong work ethic, discipline, and perseverance, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. These qualities continue to guide her approach as treasurer, where she values accountability, communication, and collective success.

Now, Emily Ross is a graduate student at Nova Southeastern University pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As Treasurer, she brings a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail, helping ensure that resources are managed thoughtfully and transparently to support the organization’s mission. She is committed to maintaining financial integrity while contributing to the planning and sustainability of impactful programs and initiatives.

Emily is deeply passionate about mental health advocacy and is dedicated to helping others feel supported, understood, and empowered. She believes in the importance of creating safe, inclusive spaces where individuals can grow and prioritize their well-being, and she strives to align financial decisions with the goal of expanding access to these supportive environments. Emily is excited to contribute both her passion for mental health and her organizational skills to help the group thrive and make a meaningful impact.
