Question: What is the parking situation?
Answer: There is free onsite parking. Please park in any "guest" parking space. There are guest spots on the front and sides of the building. Any unauthorized vehicle in a non visitor space subject to towing.
Question: Where are proceeds going?
Answer: In 2027, my team and I are going on our first service trip. We will be spending a day giving back to a local non-profit organization. We are currently planning a day to spend with a youth group from South Florida doing activities to build confidence, set goals for the future, and promote healthy peer relationships.
Question: What is a fair price to contribute?
Answer: The minimum payment to purchase a ticket is $1. The cost of supplies is about $35 per person. No matter what you pay, showing up is more than enough support.
Question: Do I NEED to purchase a ticket?
Answer: If you plan to paint, please purchase a ticket. Tickets will be used to get a count of how many canvases and totes are needed.
Question: When is the last day to purchase a ticket?
Answer: Tickets to reserve canvases and totes end on September 15th, however the ticket link for will be open until the end of the event in case anyone would like to make an additional contribution.
Question: How do I get to the event room once I get to the location?
Answer: Enter the community using the entrance on Stahuber Rd by turning onto Stahuber Rd from Vauxhall Rd. The Leasing Office will be in front of you as you drive In which is where you will park. There will be a door on the left side of the building, that is the door you will use to enter the building. The event room will be straight down the hallway, past the patio's french doors.
Question: Wine is usually provided at paint and sips. Since the event is BYOB, am I limited to bringing wine?
Answer: The event space limits alcoholic beverages to wine, beer, hard seltzers, and hard ciders. Liquor will not be permitted.
Question: Will something be provided to cover my clothes, so I don't get paint on my outfit?
Answer: Yes! Aprons will be provided by the instructors.
Question: Since the event is BYOB, do I need to bring my own wine glass?
Answer: Cups will be provided for beverages. If you would like to use a specific wine glass, feel free to bring it.
